Alzheimer's Care
Our Schaffer Adult Day Center in West Palm Beach offers stimulating programs of daily activity in a nurturing and dignified environment for seniors with early to mid-stages of Alzheimer¹s disease and other forms of dementia. This program provides peace of mind to family caregivers who need time for respite during the day.
Our programs are planned to provide opportunities for social interaction, creative expression, cognitive stimulation, and physical activity. Individualized assessments guide our professional team to ensure that each member experiences success.
We accept VA benefits. Assistance may be available through grants.
Services include:
- Breakfast, lunch and snacks daily
- Limited transportation available
- Individual and family counseling
- Caregiver support groups
- Activities ranging from arts and entertainment, pet therapy and men’s and women’s clubs, to games and adaptive sports
