Just Checking! provides counsel, guidance and referral for family members of elderly individuals and elders themselves who are struggling to remain independent in their communities. Services include assessments, caregiver, individual and family counseling, in-home visits, referral to healthcare, financial and legal resources, and placements into assisted living and long-term care programs if appropriate. Just Checking! is a program of MorseLife’s Loring Institute for Geriatric Research and Education.

The Kramer Senior Services Agency provides a full range of home and community-based services, including home care, adult day care, kosher meals on wheels, a homebound mitzvah program, and adult education programs. Serving seniors in Palm Beach County, Kramer offers its clients the range of services they need that allow them to “age in place” -- to live independently in the comfort of their own homes for as long as possible.

“We are so grateful to the Palm Beach Country Club Foundation for these grants in support of critical services that enable seniors of our community to live with independence and dignity,” said Keith A. Myers, President/CEO for MorseLife. “The funding of such programs is particularly important given the increased need for support in the wake of challenging economic times.”
